Christopher J LeSaffre is the founder of My Classic Car Garage. He has been a car enthusiast for his entire life starting from his high school years when he would buy and restore cars for a job. His first project was a 1967 Citroen DS 21 that he purchased from his father as a sophomore in high school. From then on he had a passion for unusual cars, such as the 1966 BMW 2000 that he owned, or the Peugeot 404 station wagon.

From a little boy, he used to spend time at his grandfather's service station helping out in any way that he could, not even thinking of the experience that he was gaining. As he grew older he spent endless hours in his father's shop fixing and restoring cars with his brother Peter, who is now an accomplished sports car racer in circuits around the world.

Now that his school days are over, he is happily married to his wife of 33 years Fran, who is an accomplished dance teacher. They have two children, Allison and Max. And although his love for cars runs deep, his love for his family is paramount.

Chris did not not start his career in the classic car business, rather in real estate. From there he went on to telecommunications, and numerous other marketing ventures. But because of his passion for vintage cars, he decided to endeavor into the classic car business and make it his main profession, thus he opened My Classic Car Garage.

My Classic Car Garage's purchase of Dearborn Automobile Company has put the company on the map as a classic car dealership, and they have taken off running. As you may know, Alex Dearborn was the man who started Paul Russell and many others in the restoration business in New England. MCCG has taken Dearborn's great name and company and expanded upon it bringing you one of the premier classic car dealership in the nation. Chris is not only the founder, but he is also a salesman, and he makes sure to personally see over every restoration, and drive every car to make sure that each of his classics is in ideal condition. Because of his honesty, expertise, and perfectionism, Chris is sure to not only respresent each car fairly, but also to provide his clients with the best classic cars both cosmetically and mechanincally at competitive prices.
